This post was first published in August 2016. A prayer for students. Recently I sent Favorite Baby off to a different state for the next step in his educational plan. I speak to him frequently, but even so, I find my thoughts wandering and wondering what he is up to? And the prayer still applies.
Last week a very special woman I know left this Earth for heaven at the ripe old age of 91. She was one of those women who exuded joy every time she smiled. Everyone who knew her was blessed by her joy, her wit, and her intelligence. 91 years What an amazing life she must have had.
